Note: All the deceptions of the devil are targeted mainly at Christians including the building of this temple of God.
2Thess 2:1-4 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
Before Rapture, the temple of God must be rebuilt. Since every born again Christian's body is the temple of God, God cannot dwell in this temple. The Antichrist (man of sin) will make use of this opportunity to deceive Christians and Israelites alike by sitting in it and proclaiming himself God.
1Cor 3:16-17 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and [that] the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
Who will build this temple?
Luke 21:20, 22 "But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near... For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled."
God will ensure that Jerusalem will be conquered by the Antichrist during WW3 and he will deceive the Muslims to remove the Al-Aqsa mosque and the Dome of the rock to allow the Jewish Priesthood to build the temple of God for Allah to be worshipped by all mankind in the new 'One World Religion'.
Christians know this Deceptions
2Thess 2:5, 9-10 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?... The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
We thank God that our Lord Jesus had told us beforehand in His words and in the Epistles of the coming of the Antichrist and his deceptions in the building of the temple of God.
Jews want to build this Temple
Isaiah 2:2-4 Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD's house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. Many people shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Because of the Israelites' rejection and crucifixion of their Messiah our Lord Jesus Christ, Yahweh has given all of them the spirit of stupor, so that they are blind to spiritual things. Since they reject truth in the NT, they will not realize that the coming temple of God is the devil's plan to deceive all mankind esp. Christians and Jews.
